the M1916introduced in Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 3, is a Marksman rifle that packs a punch.
Even though this weapon hits hard, it is held back by a low bullet speed, slow rate of fire, and general impracticality, especially compared to other top tier weapons.
It’s possible that developer Raven Software will make this weapon more viable in the future, but right now there’s not much reason to use it in a competitive sense.
Still, it can be fun to play around with if you’re looking for something new.

As usual, start by equipping the Mercury Silencer Muzzle, which gives you sound suppression and additional recoil control.
Next, be sure to use the ZP 762mm Precision Barrel for improved bullet speed, better accuracy, reduced range sway, and greater damage range.
In terms of optics, there’s room for experimentation, but we like the G16 2.5x.
From there, go for the ZP M502 custom stock, which gives you better horizontal recoil control and faster aiming speed (ADS).
Remember to use the Carver Foregrip Underbarrel with this build, which provides better recoil control and hip-firing accuracy.
As for the magazine type, we advise you to use the 6.5mm Sakura 20 Round Mag as it offers better recoil control, faster ADS speed, improved rate of fire and movement speed improved.
From there, be sure to equip the extended ammo to increase your bullet speed, which is essential.
Also add the Grooved Grip rear handle to this build, which gives you better accuracy and faster movement speed.
For the Perk, use Quickscope as it increases your accuracy immediately after the ADS. Finally, equip On-Hand for Perk 2, which boosts your ADS speed (though the description doesn’t say so).

Best Warzone M1916 Class Setup, Perks & Gear
For the best M1916 class configuration, our recommendations are:
- Advantage 1: Quick Fix (unlocks at level 42)
- Advantage 2: Tempered (unlocks at level 1)
- Advantage 3: Amped (unlocks at level 1)
- Secondary: AMP 63 (Kill 5 enemies in 20 different matches using pistols)
- Mortal: Molotov cocktail (unlocked at level 10)
- Tactical: Stun Grenades (unlocks at level 1)
In most cases, we recommend using the Quick Fix perk, which immediately begins health regeneration after using an armor plate or killing an enemy.
This will undoubtedly save your life, especially when fighting multiple enemies at once.
After that, it’s best to use Tempered, a perk that allows you to max out your armor with just two plates instead of three. Th is perk is much more viable now since Ghost was nerfed earlier in 2022.
For the third slot, we recommend using Amped so you can swap weapons faster. The small size of the 20 round magazine will likely cause you to take the reload, so Amped is a solid choice here.
Since you’ll want to cover your bases as much as possible, we recommend equipping yourself with the AMP 63 submachine gun with this build.
It’s actually quite effective, even compared to most of the best SMGs in the game. However, you should grab a primary SMG as soon as possible to ensure better success.
When it comes to deadly gear, it’s hard not to use Molotov cocktails because they deal a lot of damage and have a large radius.
As for tactical gear, go for stun grenades, in this case, to temporarily immobilize your enemies before engaging with them.
