If you managed to avoid dying and fight enough enemies along the way, you might even find it possible to have your morale at 10 at this point.
Enhanced Defense is a sorcery spell you should have learned and equipped, but another useful one to have is Absorb Vitality. This allows you and your allies to temporarily restore HP when you deal damage, which is great when you’re able to punish a staggered enemy, saving you from using a sip of your healing pot. dragon. How to defeat Zhuyan in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
Zhuyan has massive arms that he likes to come in close with to pound you. Good news as all of these attacks can be deflected, so let’s see what these attacks are.
His attacks usually consist of him swinging his right arm towards you or slamming him to the ground in front of you. He can also do a combo where he swings his right, then his left, before slamming his right down, so you’ll need to stay alert to deflect one after the other.
He has another attack where he jumps and slams both arms on the ground which can also deal AOE damage. Sometimes he does it twice in a row or can even follow it up with an unblockable somersault – although this one can also do it alone.
His other unblockable attack to watch out for gives you more time to think ahead as he performs a backflip, then flies feet-first towards you with a viciously quick corkscrew kick. We don’t know if the backflip can damage you as he tends to charge him from a distance, but be ready to deflect the moment his feet hit the ground after the backflip.
Being able to deflect this unblockable is important as it stands upright to boost its morale if it connects, but it’s also left open to punishment for a few seconds after allowing you a few free hits. A combo that ends in a Spirit Attack is highly recommended here as it will push his Spirit Gauge significantly into the red. In fact, the unblockable attack already consumes some of Zhuyan’s spirit, so we found that deflecting that attack and then performing a spirit combo can be enough to stagger him for a killing strike.
Although you lose a morale point with the killing strike, be aware that Zhuyan quickly restores it once he reaches around two-thirds of his health, as he roars and creates a red demonic aura around him. During this time, Zhao Yun will also be fighting alongside you, so it’s a good idea to be positioned on opposite sides of the arena. This will allow you to score free hits while the monkey’s back is turned, retreat to use your dragon’s healing pot or one of your sorcery spells (don’t forget to try and cast Absorb Vitality if Zhuyan’s Spirit Gauge approaches scaling).
