While Changli is featured as the upgraded 5-star character on her Vermillion’s Ploy banner in version 1.1, she will eventually return to Wuthering Waves at some point in the future when the banner’s timeline returns to her.

The Changli kit

Changli is a 5-star Fusion character who uses a sword.

Keeping in mind that all percentages mentioned below are based on Tier 1 skills, and this is beta information leaked by encore.moe that may change upon its official release, here is a very brief summary of Changli’s kit in Wuthering Waves:

• Rarity: 5 stars.
• Element: Fusion.
• Armed: Sword.
• Basic attack: Blazing lights.
• Resonance Skill: Tripartite flames.
• Resonance Release: Radiance of fidelity.
• Forte Circuit: Burning Wish.
• Introductory skill: Obeying the rules – Changli appears in the air, attacks the target, then enters True Sight, for 12 seconds.
• Other skill: Duality Strategy – Increases the activated character’s fusion damage by 20% and their resonance release damage by 25%, for 10 seconds. Switching to another character ends this effect.
• Inherent Skill 1: Secret Strategist – When Changli launches her basic attack True Sight Conquest or her basic attack True Sight Charge, for each stack of Ignite she has, her fusion damage is increased by 5%.
• Inherent skill two: Sweeping Force – When Changli launches her heavy attack Flaming Sacrifice or Radiance of Fealty Resonance Liberation, her Fusion damage bonus is increased by 20%, and she ignores 15% of the target’s defense when dealing damage.

Changli creates stacks of Ignite as part of his Strong skill, containing a maximum of four stacks. She builds one stack of Ignition for each basic attack True Sight Conquest and True Sight Charge on a hit, and four stacks for each Radiance of Fealty Resonance Liberation used.

To get the most out of Changli, you’ll need to unlock and upgrade its various skill trees using Forte materials, which vary from character to character.

By getting duplicates of Changli by shooting her at banners, you will receive her Wavebands and you can also purchase a few Wavebands from the in-game store. Wavebands are an important item, as they allow you to unlock channel tiers resonance, with each level improving either an existing skill or a passive ability.

• Hidden thoughts (RC1): Tripartite Flame Resonance skill and Changli’s Flaming Vow heavy attack increase its damage dealt by 10% and its resistance to interruption.
• Pursuit of desires (RC2): Ignition increases Changli’s critical damage by 30%, lasting 8 seconds.
• Secrets Learned (RC3): Changli’s Radiance of Fealty Resonance release damage is increased by 80%.
• Polite words (RC4): Changli’s introductory skill increases the attack of all team members by 20%, for 30 seconds.
• Gains sacrificed (RC5):The heavy attack multiplier of Changli’s Burning Wish attack is increased by 50%, and when released, Changli’s attack is increased by an additional 50%.
• Plans made (RC6):Changli Tripartite Flame Resonance skill, Flaming Vow heavy attack, and Shard of Loyalty Release Resonance ignore an additional 40% of the target’s defense when dealing damage.
