THE Wyndham Catacombs at Elden Ring are a place on the Altus plateau on the border with Gelmir.
There are a few Knights of Leyndell waiting for you in this Elden Ring catacomb, and at the very end lies a fierce enemy – a Funeral Guard Dog from Erdtree.

Wyndham Catacombs Tour in Elden Ring
First, visit the Wyndham Ruins, located northeast of the Sage’s Cave.
Make your way through the ruins towards the northwest and you will discover the entrance to the catacombs in a rock wall:
Activate the “Wyndham Catacombs” grace site and turn right before the boss door. Be careful of the trap, it shoots lightning arrows.
Climb up onto the platform that acts as an elevator and head down, facing west. You can jump onto a ledge and find 1x Tomb Glove (5) there.
The lower passage leads to a room with guillotines, which you pass through to take out more enemies in the back before they can harass you with their lightning spells.
Collect 1x Tomb Glove (4) and follow the corridor south until you reach two more gnomes guarding 1x Tomb Glove (5) and a passage.
The latter leads to a flooded vault with stains on the ceiling. They will fall on your head if you are not careful.
Fight and choose 1x Ghent Ghost (6). At the end of the area is a Leyndell Knight, guarding not only a Tomb Glove (4)but also a scale.
In the hallway above, avoid the floor trap and you can pass a Sword Stone Key to unlock a room with the Lightning Scorpion Talisman item (strengthens lightning attacks, decreases damage resistance).
The next room is dangerous. In it, an enemy throws flash bombs at you and the floor rises up to impale you on the spikes in the ceiling. Run straight and escape to the ledge with the enemy.
Behind him, another Leyndell Knight guards the lever to the boss door, but first take out the enemy behind the corner to the right.
On the way back, you can take another detour through the rising floor area. Let the floor rise and then drop into the ankle-deep water.
You’ll reach another safe filled with undead and traps on the floor. At the bottom, two giant crabs emerge from the ground, which you don’t need to defeat to pull the lever to the familiar area.

How to defeat the Wyndham Catacombs Erdtree Burial Watchdog in Elden Ring
The Erdtree Funeral Guard Dog in the Wyndham Catacombs is an old acquaintance. We already know this type of enemy from the Stormfoot Catacombs in Limgrave, the Cliffbottom Catacombs in Liurnia or the Impaler Catacombs on the Peninsula of Tears.
This specimen behaves exactly the same and offers no nasty surprises. Except for the fact that it spits lightning instead of flames.
Otherwise, his animations and attacks are the same as before, so you shouldn’t have any major problems with this guard dog. Stick to tried and tested tactics.
