Location of Ihen-a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Ihen-a shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be found in the courtyard of Mipha. It’s at the summit of Ploymus mountain, west of Tal Tal peak, east of Zora’s DomainAnd north of East Reservoir Lake.

We have marked its exact location on the map below:

Getting to Mipha Court can be tricky, as it literally sits on top of Ploymus Mountain. We found, for us, that the easiest way to get there was to start at the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower. Then, we stayed as high as possible following the route indicated on the map below:

If you take the same route, you should see torches lining the path once you get closer to Mipha Court.

Now, once you get there, you will find that the entrance to Ihen-a Shrine is covered in mud. To clear this, we attached a Splash Fruit to an arrow and fired it at the entrance to wash away the goo. Then we entered normally.

Ihen-a Shrine puzzle solution in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To solve the Ihen-a Shrine puzzle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you must manipulate multiple floating platforms to create bridges and steps to get you where you need to go.

When you first enter the shrine, you’ll see a few floating platforms. The quick way to fix this first issue is to use Ultrahand to move one of the floating platforms so it’s hovering in the air near the raised section at the back of this area. Then get under the platform and use Ascend to get on it and just jump to the start of the next area.

However, if you fancy saving more time on the build, you can do what we did and use Ultrahand to complete a series of steps.

Once you’re in the next area, follow the path until you see a single platform in the middle of the floor. Tap it to power it up, then look to your right. Grab the metal panel here and secure it to the top of the floating platform so it’s flat. Then move your creation into the space between where you are standing and the other side.

This will make a bridge, and all you have to do is jump over it to cross to the other side. Once you’re on the other side, you can again choose from a few options to move on to the next section.

You can grab your previous creation and lift it above the second space that should now be in front of you, making sure part of it is hovering above you. Then you can use Ascend to climb on it and Slide to the raised area.

Alternatively, you can pick up your creation using Ultrahand, then move it to the space between you and the raised area. Then rotate the creation so that it tilts and becomes a ramp. You can then run up that ramp and move on to the next area.

Link is ready to rise in this shrine… (I’m not even sorry)

Once at the top, follow the path to the next area. You should see a few more floating platforms here. Go further into the room, then turn to the left, towards the locked portal which is in front of you and on the other side of a huge gap.

Then look up and to your left. You should see a ledge here with a chest on it. The easiest way to do this is to move one of the floating platforms using Ultrahand so that it floats next to the ledge. Then just use Ascend to get on top of the platform and jump to open the chest. This chest contains five Arrows.

Once you’re ready, slowly lower back down. Now you need to glue three of the floating platforms together in a straight line and insert them into the small space in front of the large golden square next to the ball in the middle of the room.

Then pick up the ball and place it on the center platform of your creation. Make sure it’s in the middle of the platform itself, otherwise it might fall over when the platforms move.

When you’re happy with the placement of the ball, hit the golden structure next to where you placed the platforms and watch them launch through space. They should take the ball with them.

Now it’s up to you to bridge the gap. Place the fourth platform in this area in the same spot where you previously placed the trio. Next, stand on top of the platform and turn around to face the golden structure. Shoot it with an arrow and you’ll be propelled through the gap.

Once here, if the ball hasn’t already fallen into the circle on the ground, then pick it up and move it here. When the ball is in the pit, the Blessing Light door will open.
