Mogawak Shrine puzzle solution in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To solve the Mogawak Shrine riddle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to find a way to power up the shrine’s empty battery to revive a few pieces of gear.
The first thing you need to do is go down the main steps of the shrine to enter the main area. In front of you, you should see an empty battery. To your left there will be a body of water and a locked chest behind a door. We will come back to this later.
Then to your right you should see a body of water and a mechanism on the wall. Go here.
Once here, head to the left side of the mechanism on the wall and look into the water. You should see a chest deep underwater. Use Ultrahand to grab the chest and pull it to the surface you’re standing on. This chest contains a magic scepter.
Next, look in the water on the right side of the wall mechanism. You should see a floating panel here. Use Ultrahand to pick up the panel, then you need to rotate it and glue it to the top of the mechanism so that it mirrors the panel that is already attached to the bottom of the mechanism. The end result should look like this:
Ta-da! You actually made a water wheel. So, now you have to use Ultrahand again and pull the top panel towards the water coming out of the pipe on the left. Be careful, you don’t want to detach the panel, you just want to twist the mechanism slightly so the water catches it.
Once the panel is underwater, let go of it and your waterwheel should start working. If successful, you should see the pipe leading from the right mechanism begin to light up.
Follow the pipe and you’ll see it leads to a sign on the ground. Go back and collect the empty battery you saw earlier. Then use Ultrahand to move the battery on the panel so it’s upright.
Wait a few seconds and the battery should charge. Now it’s time to get the chest behind the gate. Take the charged battery and head to the area on the other side of the room where the chest is behind a locked door.
You should see another panel on your floor to the left as you face the door. Place the charged battery on this panel and it will send an electric current to the ball in the water.
Quickly, use Ultrahand to lay out the balls in the water so they’re close to touch. They won’t touch each other perfectly, but get them as close together as possible.
Don’t worry if your battery runs out, you can just recharge it like you did before. Bullets will not reset while you do this.
Electric current will flow from the charged ball to the next, which will open the locked door. Carefully head to the door to collect the chest. This chest contains Opal.
Finally, return to the middle of the shrine area. Grab the battery and charge it as you did before. Then, go up the ramp on the side of the elevator contraption in the middle of the shrine and place the battery on the panel facing the elevator.
However, we did not manage to jump on it in time. So we let the elevator go up and waited for the battery to discharge. Once the elevator came down, we jumped on it and used the Rewind ability to lift it up once more.
Riding the elevator will take you to the final part of this shrine where you can get your Blessing Light.
That’s it for Mogawak Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we hope you enjoy Link’s continued adventure through Hyrule!
