Zenless Zone Zero BannersAlso called Signal Research, are what you can spend your Master Tapes and Boopons on to obtain characters, W-Engine weapons, and Bangboos.
Each Banner limited-time character event lasts for three weeks, giving way to Next bannerThese event banners have a single S-rank character with enhanced attraction chances and two enhanced A-rank characters.
There is also a permanent character banner, a W-Engine weapon banner that changes its S and A ranks every three weeks, and a permanent Bangboo banner that uses the special Boopon currency that cannot be purchased with real money.

Event Characters Next Banner
For these temporary event character banners you must use Encrypted master tapes to pull them, and this banner is scheduled to change every three weeks.
The next banner of Zenless Zone Zero is Zhu Yuanwho debuts during Phase 2 of Version 1.0 on Wednesday, July 24. Zhu Yuan is an Ether attacker with the Attack specialty, and she is featured on her Unswerving Bullet banner.
All boosted A-Rank Characters On Zhu Yuan’s next banner we find:
- Ben (Fire, Defense)
- Nicole (Ether, Support)
W-Engine Next Weapon Banner
Dissonant Sonata is a permanent W-Engine banner with upgraded S-Rank and A-Rank weapons that changes every three weeks, at the same time as the new event character banner is added. Just like this character banner, you must use Encrypted master tapes to shoot Dissonant Sonata.
The upcoming Dissonant Sonata weapon banner from Phase 2 of Version 1.0 introduces the new S-Rank Mark VI Riot Suppressor Attack-type W engine, Zhu Yuan’s signature. It starts on Wednesday, July 24.

The current Zenless Zone Zero banner features Ellenan ice attacker with the Attack specialty featured on his Mellow Waveride banner, and all boosts A-Rank Characters On Ellen’s current banner are:

Current W Engine Weapon Banner
The current banner of the W-engined Sonata Dissonante is valid until Wednesday July 24and introduces the new S-Rank Visitor from the deep sea Ellen’s signature specialized attack weapon.
Here is all the Rank A W engines boosted on Ellen’s current W-Engine banner in Zenless Zone Zero:

Banner with a star-studded cast
All S-rank characters and W-engines that will never be upgraded in event character banners are available on Star-Studded Cast, a permanent banner.
Every 10 draws you make with regular master tapes on Star-Studded Cast guarantees you at least one A-rank character or W-Engine weapon, and when you make a total of 300 rolls on Star-Studded Cast, you can choose from one of the S-rank characters in its pool.
There’s also a 20% discount on a 10-draw set, valid for up to 50 draws, which lets you get ten for the price of eight. This means you’re guaranteed to get a regular S-rank character within 50 draws, but the discount disappears once you get your first Star-Studded Cast S-rank character.

Bangboo Banner
An exceptional partner is the permanent Bangboo banner with upgraded S-rank and A-rank Bangboos. Unlike character and weapon banners, you must use Bopons to get an exceptional partner, which cannot be obtained by converting your movie or other gacha currencies. This means that there is no way to buy currency to shoot the Bangboo banner – you can only earn Bopons by playing the game.
Another big difference to note about the Bangboo banner is that you can choose which S rank Bangboo you will draw nextSimply select which Bangboo you want to get next, and the next time you pull an S-rank Bangboo, it’s guaranteed to be the one you chose.

For future reference, keep in mind that each Banner replay will be different. It will feature the same boosted S-rank character, but a different group of boosted A-rank characters accompanying him.
