In the first month since its release, Black Myth: Wukong sold more than 20 million copies.
While players on the Xbox platform wait for an Xbox Series X|S release, Black Myth: Wukong continues to enjoy sales success on PC and PlayStation 5.
After the game sold more than 18 million copies two weeks after launch, Game Science can claim another milestone.
At the Tokyo Game Show, Ken Kutaragi said during a presentation that the fighting game sold more than 20 million copies in its first month.
Ten million copies were sold in the first three days. More than three million players were registered simultaneously across all platforms.
Interestingly, Black Myth: Wukong peaked at 2.4 million concurrent players on Steam. That would mean 600,000 players were on PlayStation 5. Based on these numbers, 80% of gamers would be on PC.
