For the Mass Effect Legendary Edition you need plenty of storage space on your Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S. The pre-load of 84 GB has been available for a few days.
A Day One update has already been signaled by the developers and now appears to be available.
As Idle Sloth noted in a picture, an update of almost 21 GB is available for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Xbox Series X | S.
Since the Mass Effect Legendary Edition will not be playable until the release on May 14, 2021, you still have a few days to make the update.
