Today, the official Halo channels played their usual role Community Live Stream, this time focused on Halo Infinite Season 2 and the future of gaming. In the talk, in addition to giving explanations on the current state of the title, we were able to take a quick look at what is coming this May 3rd.
The highlight was, without a doubt, Joseph Staten’s look at the future of Halo Infinite and the presentation of the full battle pass. From Joseph’s side, the message is clear that 343’s priority after the launch of Season 2 will be to ensure the game’s quality of life and protect studio employees; all this already envisaged in the roadmap presented last week.
Joseph’s other announcements weren’t too revealing, it looks like we’ll have to settle for monthly content via Drop Pods once the season is over. In addition to the fact that not all content will be released on May 3, there will be periodic releases through rift events.
Halo Infinite Multiplayer Season 2 Battle Pass Revealed
Halo Ininite’s Lone Wolves season comes with everything, and that’s that the content featured in the direct made it clear that the focus will be on creating themes per season in an effort to fuel a narrative in multiplayer. Thus, this new season will land with much more customization content for armor, being able to see a teasing of the theme with the new armor and its narrative.

Advance in eEque is studied in detail to guarantee the best experience. To help the feeling of progression, some important rewards will be localized very soon in the pass, encouraging players to keep playing to unlock and progress.
Now it has been clarified that with each new season there will be a battle pass, but this will not prevent players from completing items from previous seasons; Note that this will only be available if the pass has been purchased beforehand, the free pass will disappear with the change of season.
Return community and what the future holds
For 343, the feedback This has been the primary means of correcting mistakes and guiding future ongoing projects. The way forward will be to replicate what was done with Halo: The Master Chief Collection updates, where transparency prevailed in every report, keeping the community informed and active.
For the rest, it is clear that the correction of errors will be carried out according to the game’s quality of life plan, having already announced several corrections requested by players. Some of them are:
- add the gamertag players above the spartan.
- Revamp and redesign Jorge’s right shoulder pad design.
- Add and upgrade some badges.
- Reworked the Hall of Armor theme, allowing players to combine skins as they wish, which is not possible due to default armor sets (item under review).
For now, we can’t wait for May 3 to be able to play the new game modes on new maps and with new armor. The update will take place around 8 p.m., with one hour of maintenance on the Halo Infinite servers.
