Little by little we are moving forward into 2021 and with this we see some novelties that are about to reach the new generation of consoles, although most of the news will surely end up arriving during the summer months.
In the meantime, we’ve got a good number of titles to keep spending hours on old and new consoles, with the Master Chief Collection being one of the games with more content and better suited for Xbox and PC consoles.
Future Master Chief Collection store will use in-game points
While we know 343 Industries has its majority of workers developing Halo Infinite for its next fall release, this collection also receives a lot of care from the studio, with constant updates and seasonal changes making it even better.
The upcoming Season 6 is getting closer and closer to arriving and we’ve already seen some of the maps that will be coming with this important update, but something that we hadn’t yet seen that 343 Industries wanted to show is the future store of cosmetics that we will have in the Master Chief Collection and that receives the name of “The Exchange”, in which we can spend our game points to get customization items that we do not have and the best thing is that it there will be no option to get them for real money, undoubtedly being a decision in which I totally agree.
“As an added goal, we also wanted to minimize the fear of missing something, or ‘FOMO’ associated with that experience. “Exchange will offer customization elements from two general categories: Old Season Limited Time Content and New Themed Content.”
This great seeing how 343 Industries improved the Master Chief Collection to the point of being their last big hit, something which I hope will be repeated in a few months with the launch of Halo Infinite on Xbox and PC.
