Italian publisher 505 Games has announced a sequel to Ghostrunner, which will be released on next-generation consoles and PCs.
Releasing a new IP address is always good news, especially when it manages to keep up with the tough competition in the gaming world. This is the case of Ghostrunner, the first person action game that mixes katanas and parkour in a cyberpunk world.
Italian publisher 505 games announced Ghostrunner 2, who will come to Xbox Series X | S, PS5 and PC. After the success of the first opus, the Polish studio One more level will have double the budget to develop this new tranche, which amounts to 5 million dollars.
Since its launch on May 6, 2020, Ghostrunner has reached the 600,000 copies sold, a significant figure. From 505 Games, remember that by the end of this year we will have a version for next-gen consoles.
According to this year’s roadmap, there are still two big updates to release. The first will arrive this summer and will feature a new game mode and more content yet to be announced. It will be in the fall when this new improved version of Ghostrunner, plus new playable content.
