World of Warships celebrates its 9th anniversary at sea with a new event and festive rewards.
Wargaming, the publisher and developer of the world’s leading naval combat MMO World of Warships, is celebrating the game’s ninth anniversary.
To mark the occasion, festive rewards, the Aquatica Fair event, and a new port will be introduced into the game. In addition to the anniversary content, there will also be early access to the new Pan-American Battleships, as well as new seasons of Brawls and Ranked Battles.
World of Warships: Legends also offers players a new campaign, pan-European destroyers, and the European Navies collection.
Celebrate World of Warships’ 9th Anniversary
To celebrate its ninth anniversary on the seven seas, World of Warships is bringing a series of rewards, the new Planeta Aquatica port, and plenty of other celebratory content.
Additionally, Festive Rewards return for the anniversary, allowing players to earn Festive Tokens that can be redeemed for a variety of items, including the Premium Tier VIII US Cruiser Rochester, a range of containers, Aquatica Tokens for the newly introduced Aquatica Market, consumable bonuses, badges, and flags.
There’s also a new 60-piece puzzle collection waiting in the Battle of Pasa De Patria containers. Upon completion, players will be rewarded with a unique and historic Pan-American Commander, Joaquim Marques Lisboa. Finally, the anniversary brings an Aquatica Fair event to the Armory, special birthday daily missions, and a ninth anniversary Battle Pass.
Early Access for Pan American Battleships begins
A brand new series of Pan-American battleships is sailing into the game, initially making its debut in Early Access.
Players will have access to the battleships Ipiranaga, Los Andes and Libertad, all equipped with powerful main and secondary weapons, improved Repair Party consumables and combat briefs to improve the ships’ firepower in the heat of battle.
New clan battles, brawls, French destroyers and more
To make room for the Pan-American battleships coming to Early Access, the existing line of French destroyers will now be available via the tech tree.
All players will have access to the Tier V L’Adroit, Tier VI Duchaffault, Tier VII Le Hardi, Tier VIII L’Adventurier, Tier IX Orage and Tier X Cassard battleships in the latest update, all equipped with devastating torpedoes.
Additionally, a new season of Ranked Battles begins on September 5, new Brawls begin on September 9, and Season 27 of Clan Battles begins on September 11.
The Tempest of Renaissance campaign and more in World of Warships: Legends
World of Warships: Legends will offer a wealth of new content to players on console and mobile starting September 9.
Leading the way in this update is a brand new campaign, Renaissance Storm. This five-week challenge rewards players with the Italian Tier VIII premium cruiser Michaelangelo upon completion. A new range of powerful and agile pan-European destroyers are also coming to Early Access, including Tier IV Muavenet, Tier V Stord, Tier VI Grom, and Tier VII Split.
Finally, the September content update includes the European Navies collection, where players can collect twelve cards from European Navies crates found during the Storm of the Renaissance campaign and in special missions.
Once players have collected all available cards, they will be rewarded with the brand new Pan-European Tier II Destroyer Orjen with a special permanent camouflage.
