Spyro Reignited Trilogy finally hits service
It’s been over a year since Microsoft’s purchase of Activision and Spyro Reignited Trilogy hit Game Pass, and it’s something that has gamers somewhat worried. Little by little and slowly, titles like Diablo IV, Crash Bandicoot N’sane Trilogy or the most anticipated, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, joined the service.
But this slow pace seems to be accelerating little by little, even with people saying on the networks that early 2025 would be the starting point for all (or almost all) Activision Blizzard games arriving on Xbox Game Pass. It was about time, some will say after several months of waiting.
The chosen date is tomorrow, November 12, when good old Spyro will reach the standard, Ultimate and PC Game Pass tiers, since it is not a launch title. All users of the service (except those on Core) will be able to enjoy the lovingly remade trilogy that has given us so many hours of pleasure in the past and today.
Spyro the dragon
Our new favorite purple dragon sets out on a quest to save his dragon friends who have been turned to glass by the evil Gnasty Gnorc (what an unfortunate but fitting name!). Spyro explores vibrant dragon kingdoms, collecting gems and igniting enemies, all while learning to breathe fire and glide.
Spyro: Ripto’s Rage
Spyro finds himself in the magical land of Avalar, where he attempts to save the kingdom from the evil wizard Ripto and his minions. Along the way, befriend new allies, overcome challenges, complete tasks, and unlock even more powers to defeat Ripto and restore peace.
Spyro: Year of the Dragon
In Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Spyro discovers that the Wicked Witch has stolen the dragon eggs, sending him on a new mission to retrieve the eggs and save the dragon population. Our favorite purple dragon meets new friends, learns new skills, all while exploring more dynamic realms with challenges (and treasures!).
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and PC; but from tomorrow also available on Game Pass.
