For The Warp invites players to navigate a procedurally generated galaxy, with each playthrough offering a unique and unpredictable experience. Set in a pixelated universe, the game’s charming retro aesthetic belies the depth of its strategic gameplay.
Adjust your run
Begin your run with one of seven ships, each with its unique deck, base stats, and equipment slots. Each brings you in to a different play style that you can follow or ignore, the choice is yours! Buy, find and trade equipment to upgrade your spaceship with more firepower, durability or special features!

The game features 120 cards and 34 pieces of equipment that you can mix and match, full of synergies and gameplay possibilities. You can get them after completing a level, during procedurally generated events, or simply by cleaning up space junk. So remember to explore each system thoroughly.
Tips to help you succeed
- The shields remain intact between rounds, take advantage of this. Alternate between attacking and building shields.
- Never underestimate the power of controlling your enemy’s intentions! With cards that change the enemy’s intent, you can stop them from attacking!
- You can gain fuel after each battle or buy it on space stations. So feel free to explore the entire map.
- Don’t be afraid to scrap cards that don’t help your current build.
- Follow these beacons! Inside you’ll find shortcuts, new maps and equipment, and even completely new systems!
- Your HP will only be replenished when you change systems. So handle it carefully.
- The cards and equipment are shared by all ships, only the starter deck is different for each ship.
