Tales of Kenzera: ZAU director Abubakar Salim would like to portray Kain in a possible live-action adaptation of Legacy of Kain.
Although the series has a certain cult status within the gaming scene, fans have been waiting for a new Legacy of Kain offshoot for over 20 years.
Despite the overwhelming response to a 2022 survey conducted by Crystal Dynamics regarding the brand’s revival, the series remained largely silent.
A situation that Tales of Kenzera: ZAU director Abubakar Salim also considers intolerable. In an interview with VGC, Salim, who also makes his living as an actor, reveals that he would like to play Kain in a possible live-action adaptation of Legacy of Kain:
“I would love to play Kain in Legacy of Kain. I think there’s something very, very cool about Cain and his journey.”
“I’ve always had a weakness for vampires. Give me Cain. Give me Cain in the Blood Omen times, that’s right up my alley.”
