Bandai Namco Europe announced that TEKKEN 8 gameplay will focus on “Aggressive” tactics. While maintaining its own TEKKEN identity, the game will offer an exciting experience for both players and viewers with visceral, full-screen attacks and dynamic, destructible environments.
The trailer also highlights a new game mechanic: the “Heat System” that unleashes aggressive attacks with special moves and skill boosts for each character.
“Fist meets Fate,” in TEKKEN 8’s dramatic new storyline. The TEKKEN series holds the Guinness World Record for longest-running video game storyline, and TEKKEN 8 continues the tragic saga of the Mishima and Kazama bloodlines and their earth-shattering father- son quarrel continued.
The story picks up where the previous part left off, in a world deeply enmeshed in the devastating war between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. After seemingly suffering defeat at the hands of Kazuya, Jin faces his own destiny. His mother, Jun Kazama, reappears from the TEKKEN series after her absence to try to turn the tide in this blood feud.
TEKKEN 8 will be exclusive to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam).
