Ubisoft has been rather discreet in recent months and may well be preparing an important event to promote its new games in development. According to Tom Henderson, a journalist for Xfire, the French developer would use the time leading up to E3 to announce new titles and offer previews of certain previously announced games. And including a sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising or a new one Prince of Persia.
Tom Henderson, a well-known and fairly reliable journalist, clearly has sources close to Ubisoft. The man had previously given details of the French company’s titles and is therefore continuing to share them new details on upcoming productions. As always, this remains a rumor pending an official announcement from Ubisoft, so take it as it is!
Two new Ubisoft games coming?
A sequel to immortal : Fenyx rises

Despite mixed reviews and ratings, Immortals Fenyx Rising could get a sequel. The game, heavily inspired by the universe of The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, would have met Ubisoft’s expectations, which would have confirmed the production of a new opus. According to Tom Henderson, it is currently in the pre-production phase at Ubisoft Quebec.
A new Prince of Persia

Back to basics for Prince of Persia with a new adventure that would be in development at Ubi Montpellier! To mark the occasion, the studio would develop a 2.5D title with the main inspiration… or !
Some updates to already known titles

The naval combat game would have finally found its way. After numerous development difficulties, Ubisoft announced the release of in its financial results skull bones in the current financial year. No wonder Tom Henderson is confirming a release within the next 12 months, adding that the studio’s chief financial officer says he’s very pleased with the progress being made.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Since its presentation avatar could no longer produce the end of his blue marks. However, development is progressing well, according to the Xfire reporter, who claims a new trailer is already on the way. Test sessions have also been running since this week and everything points to a release this year. That’s good, that’s exactly what Ubisoft has already confirmed.
The Heartland Division

announced in early 2021, The Heartland Division will be a free-to-play episode of the famous Ubisoft license. The title would thus feature two game modes, including a major one that would offer a player vs player vs AI experience. Few details are known, but Tom Henderson reports very positive comments about the game, making the latter particularly advanced and almost ready for release. According to the journalist, we could even see the title country this summer, although no schedule has been set yet.
Assassin’s Creed Rift

Already mentioned by Bloomberg, Assassin’s Creed Rift could be the next entry in one of the most famous franchise games. It wouldn’t be an experience on the scale of previous episodes, however, but more of an expansion converted into a standalone one. At least that’s how the journalist presents this opus, which according to his sources should be a DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Estimated release date of the project? At the beginning of 2023, fans should wait until the releaseAssassin’s Creed Infinity !
Assassin’s Creed Infinity

After several leaks in 2021 Assassin’s Creed Infinity still remains so mysterious. The next great Assassin’s Creed is being presented by journalists as the most ambitious ever created with a specially engineered game-as-a-service approach. The idea here? Create a grand hub, represented by the Animus, where players can choose their adventures by projecting themselves into the era and region of their choice. This Animus regularly hosts new content so you can constantly experience new Assassin’s Creed adventures. A title that would therefore bring the concept of the game to its peak by simulating its concept!
Frontline of Ghost Recon

Another free-to-play game that will land in more or less near future, Frontline of Ghost Recon would be Ubisoft’s next NFT nest. In fact, according to Tom Henderson, the French developer wants to integrate this technology much more substantially than before and more than in any other game currently in development.
Unfortunately, the closed betas were not convincing on the player side and there is still a lot to be done to bring new ideas into this future battle royale.
XDefiant

Originally developed as part of the Tom Clancy franchise, XDefiant recently lost that affiliation. Again, the experience is intended to be free-to-play and largely based on the experiences of Mark Rubin, the former producer of Call of Duty.
According to Tom Henderson, the title could see the light of day in late 2022 or early 2023.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake

After the disappointment of the initial presentation, the development teams at Ubisoft seem to have polished up extensively Prince of Persia: Sand of Time Remake. The title is currently in full production but has not been shown for several months, time for Ubisoft to announce a new game for this historic license, according to the journalist!
The crew 3

Nothing new in the tropics for The crew a new installment of this is in development. This will obviously offer a new unexpected gameplay that we could discover this year. Indeed, Ubisoft would be tempted to announce and showcase the game later in 2022.

Beyond Good and Evil 2

Ever immersed in its deafening silence, Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still not ready to talk about it again. The title runner and, according to Tom Henderson, knows several developmental difficulties. However, Ubisoft wouldn’t be willing to abandon the project as it had invested too much money to throw away what it had achieved so far.
Splinter Cell Remake

Mobile games… and other surprises?
Obviously this list of games is not complete. For example, the next one is missing Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope come to Switch or even some mobile games. Tom Henderson, for example, is reminiscent of The Division-style mobile games that were announced in 2021.
Finally parallel just dance should of course benefit from a new version and Stonesmith+ is still under development. Just like virtual reality experiences Assassin’s Creed and splinter group which may be announced in the coming months.
