Balatro arrived on Xbox very recently and my colleague Frank, in his analysis, was very happy with the poker title, as were the PC players who put it into production. among the 10 most played on Steam since its launch last month, but it’s not all good news for the Playstack game.
In some countries, the game is already not available for digital purchase in different virtual stores and this is linked to a change in the classification of the game which initially said that it was intended for those over 3 years old and now it has been changed to those over 18 years old.
Age is not a game
There Playstack account on Twitter/X explained that this decision was taken unilaterally by a court without any warning, suspecting that the game “contains images referring to betting and instructions on how to bet“. On this subject, the company in charge of publishing the title has indicated that not only does the company constantly speak out against the game, but even the developer of the title is a recognized opponent of this practice.

The publisher will appeal the decision with the weapons they have, because before going on sale the game had this current rating, then it was increased to +3. We’ll see who wins the final showdown.
