Following Microsoft’s financial results, Satya Nadella took the opportunity to speak by arguing for nice numbers for Xbox Game Pass. Here’s a transcript of a clip from the January 24 earnings call.
We recorded new highs for subscriptions [Xbox] Game Pass, game streaming hours and monthly active devices. And monthly active users surpassed a record 120 million for the quarter.

For example, Game Pass peaked in the last fiscal quarter, cloud gaming is growing among gamers, and Xbox had more than 120 million monthly assets in a single quarter. That’s a record! Despite that record, however, Xbox revenue fell 13%.
