In the surreal puzzle adventure Discolored, players can look forward to a two-hour adventure in a gloomy atmosphere full of puzzles and mysteries.
Inspired by science fiction series like “The Twilight Zone”, Discolored revolves around a strange, desolate restaurant at the end of an abandoned highway that has lost all of its colors. In first person view, players try to get to the bottom of the disappearance of the colors and bring them back.
By exploring the environment in a minimalist graphic style à la Edward Hopper and John Register and solving surreal puzzles, which instead of the conventional rules of the modern world, which are governed by colors, the world is increasingly coming to life.
Similar to the graphic style, the narrative part of Discolored is minimalist. Inspired by games such as LIMBO or The Witness, the action progresses through small clues and requires the players’ imagination and talent for combination.
