World’s Edge and Xbox Game Studios presented news from the Age of Empires franchise during their “New Year, New Age” event. Among the new features, it was announced Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition, Age of Empires IV, Age of Empires Mobile and Age of Mythology: Retold.
The event began with the information that more than 50 million players have already played a title in the Age of Empires franchise.

Timi and World’s Edge presented the first trailer for Age of Empires Mobile. The game will be released on iOS and Android and will feature base building, real-time strategy, destruction, and other elements familiar to fans of the Age of Empires franchise. There will be single and multiplayer content.
Eventually, World’s Edge revealed Age of Mythology: Retold, which will launch simultaneously on Xbox and PC in 2024. No animated images of the game were shown during the presentation, so we will have to wait a little longer to see the gameplay of the game.
