Remedy Entertainment has rolled out a fresh update for Alan Wake 2.
Update 1.2.3 for Alan Wake 2 is here and Remedy Entertainment has also published the patch notes. The number of health items has been adjusted so that there are more to find. The damage caused by the Painted’s Grapple has also been reduced.

- The amount of health items has been balanced so there are more to find. Stay healthy!
- The damage dealt by the Painted’s Grip has been reduced
corrections
- Fixed an issue with the “Shape of a Man” achievement/trophy not unlocking
- Adaptive triggers have been corrected so that they do not cause continuous vibration after applying trauma pads or wearing a power core
- Fixed an issue where the shotgun would float in the holster when the classic Alan Wake outfit was equipped. The shotgun was confused due to the many layers.
- Fixed the objective “Find your team on Floor -1” so that it does not disappear after loading the last save on Floor -2
- Fixed an issue where players could control Agent Estevez during her reaction after teleporting to the Oceanview Motel, which resulted in her doing strange yoga poses
- Added a missing French translation for an email on floor -2 (RE: Holy shit/RE: Putain de merde)
- Various fixes with localized subtitles and subtitle synchronization
