Alan Wake 2 updatedthe new version brings a series of corrections and improvements which aim to improve theto the gaming experience and resolve some of the issues reported by players.
One of the most notable new features is the ability to increase flashlight power while reloading the weapon, thereby canceling the reload. This can be especially useful in fast-paced combat situations. Additionally, an issue that prevented the player from firing after partially reloading the weapon has been fixed, which should improve the smoothness of the game.
New patch for Alan Wake 2
The lake house, a particularly demanding level of the game, has also received some improvements. Now the player will receive additional resource boxes just before the final boss fight. Additionally, an issue that caused The Lake House opening cutscene to play at the wrong time has been fixed.
A few additional fixes were made to the lake house, such as fixing some shadow bands in the final cutscene and fixed an issue that caused the player to get stuck in the elevator when returning to sublevel 1. “Missing” paint has also been added to the walls of sublevel 4, which should improve the appearance of the level.
Finally, some localization revisions have been made and some minor stability issues have been fixed. Also fixed the Portuguese translation of the second computer puzzle clue, which was providing incorrect information to the player.
