I’ve got it on my to-do list and I’m fully convinced that Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game. But launching it was nonsense, laden with lies, mistakes and miscommunication of any type. It is there, and it is undeniable that it has happened. Something that on a personal level has taken me back a lot when it comes to getting it, now I’m in no rush and will be playing it calmly when the Next Gen patch is released.
If you can remember all of the things the study administrators did wrong that they now face legal action for with their shareholders, now we need to add one to the list. I am in favor of always giving the benefit of the doubt, but in cases like th is the truth is it costs.
Cyberpunk? Is it eaten?
In December last year, in a publicized call to shareholders, CD Projekt CEO Adam Kicinski confessed that Keanu Reeves had played the game before and “loved it”. It makes sense that the actor tested the product where his image appears after all.
However, and on the occasion of the launch of the demo “The Matrix Awakens” developed with Unreal Engine 5, Keanu confessed to The Verge that he had never played there
Like I said, I like to believe in people and I want to give Kicinski the benefit of the doubt, maybe the manager didn’t translate the actor’s words well when overseeing some playable areas. Regardless, the studio must now look to the future and focus their efforts on Cyberpunk 2077’s next update.
