In the final destruction we will be among us the Xbox Series X, a new generation of Microsoft that will be making significant progress. While it is true that there are developers who are either unaware or expecting to upgrade, users seem to be quite clear.
This is what reveals a survey created by Gametrack and GameIndustry.biz where they have asked more than 8000 users in different European countries. With this there may be a small idea of what kind of users are loved about this new generation, and of course both Microsoft and Microsoft emphasize.
Virtual reality is less important for Xbox Series X and PS5
The majority of respondents are very observant it is important they are excellent graphics, closely followed short charging time. Specifically, 78% and 71% respectively indicated that these were important functions of this comfort.
One of the first things that Microsoft and Sony wanted to make clear from the start was that the console could reach 8K resolution and use high-performance SSDs to lower the loads to the maximum. In fact, with PCIe 4.0 SSD used by Microsoft we already know some data.
One of the things that seems interesting, albeit not the best Xbox Series X, is to get back in compliance. This is an important factor for 59% of users, followed by the ability to play physically, the remaining 58%.
The physical game has been lost in favor of digital over the years and the rise of high-tech connectivity. However, thinking about a digital console that works only for the majority still seems a long way off.
On the other hand, the most important task of this new generation is the backing of virtual reality, with 37% of the votes. The Xbox Series X will have no support for this feature, because Microsoft seems clear that it's more interesting to focus on other areas. Undoubtedly, it seems that Microsoft is getting to offer what most users are asking for the Xbox Series X when it comes out later this year.
