Microsoft used Gamescom to unveil a new update for Microsoft flight simulator. This free add-on is available now and specifically targets certain cities, a first for this aviation monster. Downloadable directly from the store, it makes the German cities of Cologne, Bonn, Dortmund, Hanover and Düsseldorf even more beautiful! Either a revised and corrected photogrammetry, for even more realism. Also, Asobo shared some info about the 40th Anniversary Edition for MFS, which will be free on November 11th.
And yes, without making it seem like it, the first flight simulator dates back to 1982. To celebrate, we have until the arrival of helicopters and gliders ! The Airbus A310 also joins the ranks, along with:
- 4 classic commercial airports;
- 10 glider airfields;
- 12 new aircraft;
- 14 helipads;
- 20 classic missions from old games.
Either good reasons to postpone flight simulator on his console! Unless you’re on Xbox One where you can enjoy it straight to xCloud!
