The announcement of a remaster of the western game Red Dead Redemption could take place as early as August.
Riding with John Marston again or even for the first time in Red Dead Redemption? In the last few days, there have been growing indications of a remaster.
The game was first classified in Korea, but the entry quickly disappeared. Then in the Rockstar Social Club the trophies were updated.
Former IGN editor Colin Moriarty claims on the Sacred Symbols podcast that he hasn’t just seen evidence of the existence of a Red Dead Redemption remaster. One considers an announcement of the open world western game even possible for August.
Moriarty said: “I can say I’ve seen confirmation that it’s real. I don’t think you need that validation, but I had someone reach out to me behind the scenes and showed me something that definitely shows this game is coming. Maybe even soon with an announcement in August. So it’s no big surprise that the South Korean Rating Board doesn’t just rate things. They evaluate things that are presented to them.”
Rockstar is said to be busy with the remaster. Reports about the discontinuation of the new version were therefore greatly exaggerated.
