With the advent of Windows 10, Microsoft introduced OneCore as a solution to integrate all company devices into a single Operating System. This also includes support for other apps, though it seems that over the years it seems like this update didn't go that far. Improvements such as the configuration update came with the November update, and now we're saying hello to the app.
We just don't have an Xbox One Insider program update. Specifically, the ring Alpha with version 18363.9063.191202-2046 and Create 19036.1200.191203-0145 for Skip forward. In both cases, in order to access the modifications you bring, we will have to be invited by Microsoft.
File Explorer says hello
On Twitter, Brad Rossetti announced that File Explorer is no longer available on Xbox One. From this moment on it will not be possible to re-install because human consumption has been very limited and does not compensate them for maintaining their support.
All those who have used it to install a custom background, access a USB file or other use will have to look for an alternative.
Fixed errors in update
- No longer do we have to see the black bar on the screen when we open the Guide.
- Various updates to display the language throughout the console.
Top adjustment to the Skip Award
- Fixed an issue where Dashboard didn't respond to command at first.
- If it keeps popping up during the update, we'll have to make a fresh start by pressing and holding the Xbox button on the console and notifying Microsoft when it restarts.
Known failures
- Those with Dolby Atmos enabled and a 120 Hz display setting with 36 bits per pixel (12-bit) may lose Dolby Atmos audio in some cases.
- Disabling 120Hz or using 30 bits in video reliability (10 bits or less will solve these problems.
- We can't send a voice message when we get together at a party.
- If we are not in the Party discussion, then we can send a message
- When streaming content from the Plex program, there may be problems with the playback.
- An incorrect color profile may be used when connecting a console.
Additional errors we can find in Skip Ahead
- Rock Band 4 game can take longer to load if multiple DLCs are installed.
- 3D screen mode does not apply to supportive content.
- For a new start, you can see photos of the cut-out ads.
These updates are now available in both rings. To do this, you will only need to have the console connected to the Internet, or manually go to Settings to check for updates. In any case, you will need to have the latest version to access online resources.
