Sony has announced that over 50% of PlayStation gamers continue to use the PlayStation 4 console.
At the last business meeting, Sony announced further details about the PlayStation 4 and 5. According to the report, almost four years after the launch of the PS5, almost half of all PlayStation gamers are still using the PS4.
In addition, PlayStation 5 players are buying fewer games, but a lot more DLC. Sales of full game content fell by 12% from PS4 to PS5, while sales of additional content increased by 176%.
Currently, the number of PlayStation 5 consoles shipped is 59.3 million, slightly behind the PlayStation 4 (60 million) in the same period.
