As of Monday, the acquisition of Activision by Microsoft could be definitively decided.
It looks like next week may be the last for the future of Microsoft's takeover of Activision. Next Monday, we must know the judge's verdict against or in favor of the FTC. In case you take a stand against the FTC, Microsoft could complete the purchase before July 18.
In the event that it sides with the FTC, we'll see what next steps Microsoft takes, though there's a chance the acquisition will be dropped. What is certain is that if on Monday the judge Jacqueline Scott Corley agrees with Microsoft, the purchase will go ahead and it won't matter what happened in the UK with the CMA would take a back seat.
Microsoft's takeover of Activision could close next week
The whole deal has a deadline, the next few days starting Monday will be the ones that will dictate the future of the acquisition both positively and negatively. If it finally materializes, Microsoft can already start working on how to develop its strategy with the UK and the formulas it could use, another front, but it is not the most important at this stage .
looks like the FTC v Microsoft decision will probably be Monday at this point
