Since last summer, rumors have been circulating about the possible development of the Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag remake, a title that, according to one report, is in preparation at one of Ubisoft’s many studios. The mysterious lead that supports this speculation was found in the CV of one of the developers.
Isaac Tan, current Lead Cinematic Designer at Ubisoft Singapore Studios, has attracted the attention of some players. Analysis of his LinkedIn profile reveals a still unannounced Assassin’s Creed project, development of which will begin in 2023.
Waiting for the announcement of Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Remake
This detail is intriguing, given that we already know the code names of the next chapters of the series, and it is unlikely that the French company will work on the episodes that will follow Assassin’s Creed Jade, Codename Red and Codename Hexe. The omission of these three names could be due to the fact that the game in question is, in fact, the famous Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Remake, title which began to make headlines during the summer thanks to a report from Kotaku.
Mostly, these are just fan guesses, but connecting the dots, it’s very likely that this is the project mentioned on the Ubisoft developer’s resume. Even though there is no official confirmation yet, the gaming community is eagerly waiting more details on this intriguing Assassin’s Creed project.
