Astronomer will receive its first paid DLC called “GLITCHWALKERS» on November 13.

“Glitchwalkers” continues Astroneer’s survival sandbox legacy and pushes it to new extremes. A new planet awaits you, the largest in Astroneer, with new biomes, technologies, gameplay features and the game’s first real villain.
But that’s not all, “Glitchwalkers” will also mark the long-awaited return of the Storms both in the expansion and in the base game. Malfunctioning storms have appeared across the solar system and players will need to avoid getting hacked by these digital storms have a chance of succeeding in their mission.
Players looking for a new challenge will have luck with the introduction of Lyn, a disgruntled member of the ESS Elysium team who has begun modifying the code of the Astroneer Training Program (ATP). Players must work with Frank, Elysium’s maintainer, to stop Lyn and her nefarious plans before she dismantles ATP from the inside.

The “Glitchwalkers” will transport players to Aeoluz, a massive new planet born in a faulty solar system, where they will be tasked with counterattacking Lyn and breaking the firewalls to return ATP to normal. Aeoluz hosts a number of new surface biomes and caves for players to explore, while a new tech tree and modules offer new ways to progress and unlock new and old technologies. “Glitchwalkers” will expand the Astroneer universe while retaining all the crafting, building, and exploration that existing Astroneers know and love. For players who aren’t ready to step into the unknown, there will also be a free update to the base game featuring new gameplay, quality of life improvements, and bug fixes.
