Microsoft has designed the Xbox Series X and Ray Tracing as the head of its new console, the importance of ray tracing in new-generation consoles has been discussed before, but Phil Spencer is increasingly comparing his own. offering that we've seen jumping from 2D to 3D.
The Xbox Series X will provide us with (seemingly) the most reliable Ray Tracing experience for the new generation, the console as it has said so many times and Microsoft has done it, made it for itself and no resource is stored to give us high reliability of the advanced lighting system.
Xbox Series X: Ray Tracking is as important as jumping from 2D to 3D
Ray Tracing on the console will be amazing. I am very focused on what we do with dynamic latency input (DLI). In my opinion, optimizing processor performance, bandwidth, SSDs and features like DLI will allow you to take comparative leaks and transformations from 2D to 3D.
So far we have read different statements from Phil Spencer in interviews but he had never gone to make an analogy with one of the greatest sins ever seen in video games such as jumping from 2D to 3D.
Hi @ XboxP3. With the arrival of the upcoming XSX, which sectors do you think allow for this amazing advance? We've been hearing about Raytracing for a few months and recently about Photogrammetry. Will this be a new course?
Thanks for your reply Phil 💚
