Voted winner of the best game of the year 2023, Baldur’s Gate 3 It doesn’t settle on its success and continues to improve after the announcement of the availability of a new patch. Last February 19, we had a great patch (the 6th of the biggest) and today we receive patch number 21. Of course, This update is still in testing on Xbox Series X/S because due to a bug it cannot be applied yet. Until then, cross-save from platforms with the latest updates will not be able to load on Xbox Series X/S.
The big new feature of this patch is the fixed a crash that could occur because avatars were no longer in one group and another in character creation when changing characters. Also fixes the “Send To” command not showing characters in the camp if you select multiple items. You can now send items to your companions in camp, even when you are outside.

ACCIDENTS
- Fixed an issue with avatars no longer in the party.
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer that caused your character to get stuck if you had Listen enabled and tried to pick a lock at the same time as another player triggered a cinematic dialogue.
- Added additional error checking when the game fails to load a save.
- Fixed an issue when switching characters during character creation.
UI fixes
- The “Sell Goods” and “Give Goods” buttons now work for all party members during a trading session, instead of just the character with the goods in their inventory.
- Multi-select enabled in Professional UI for keyboard and mouse. “Buyout” prices were also set.
- Fixed a bug that caused party gold to initially be set to 0 when trading or bartering, giving you an “Insufficient Gold” warning, no matter how much you actually had.
- Fixed “Send To” not showing camp characters in the context menu when selecting multiple items.
- Selling a container to a merchant and then trading it with another character in the trade/barter UI no longer allows you to use “Take All” to transfer the merchant’s stock to your inventory.
- Restored the ability to send items to campmates outside of camp. Many of you found this to be a great quality of life feature, so it’s back!
Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to improve with more fixes
- Fixed a bug that allowed you to place equipment in incompatible equipment slots. Please take these gloves off your feet.
- Fixed long waypoint names sometimes appearing on the map with keyboard and mouse.
- Restored the “Send To” and “Retrieve” options in the context menu for Traveler’s Chest items.
- Fixed a bug where rebinding the left mouse button removed its functionality, preventing you from clicking.
- Fixed “Sort by” not working correctly for Containers and Inventories when sorting by the same filter twice in a row.
- Fixed “Sort by” not working for corpse inventories.
- Fixed an exploit that could grant you free items from a merchant by quickly escaping from the trade UI while dragging an item to the barter UI inventory.
- Fixed the Upcast view in the hotbar closing prematurely when you changed your Upcast selection, forcing you to choose the maximum number of targets. Also fixed the hotbar incorrectly reflecting the current state of the spell after changing your metamagic selection.
Scenario layouts
- Fixed a bug that caused Minthara to keep repeating a welcome message, which also turned out to be a minor spoiler for Act III.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Owlbear Cub to disappear from the camp. The boyfriend just got lost.
- Fixed Invasion Crimes dialogue being spammed next to the Steel Watch Foundry if you triggered the Alarm Gate and then saved the game in the Forbidden Zone outside the Foundry.
- Fixed an extreme case where having Minthara nearby could teleport the party to Emerald Grove instead of Lower City.
- Fixed Wyll’s quest not starting when you recruit him by replacing another teammate with him.
- Fixed the “Enemy of Justice” condition applying to your player character when you reach the Y’llek Crèche or the Cursed Shadowlands if you have eliminated Minthara in a previous region, or when you reach the Lower City if you have killed a guard at Moonrise Towers and Araj Oblodra. witnessed it.
