The compilation will be available on February 26
The Spanish Zellery Games and the publisher Zerouno Games offer us a most retro compilation Mausoleum of the Baobas: land of the woods and scary tales. This edition will contain the original episodic tracks “Flamingo’s Don’t Eat Flamingos”, “1313 Barnabas Dead End Drive” and “A Dog in Muertoburgo” released in 2018, 2019 and 2020 respectively.
It’s a pixel-art style graphic adventure full of puzzles, action, and platforming that takes direct inspiration from video games from the 80s and 90s like The Legend of Zelda or The Monkey Island. We will accompany our protagonist, Watracio Walpurgis to the town of Flamingo’s Creek, a ghost town that appears every 25 years inhabited by the forces of evil who have trapped the love of their lives.
Here is a description of the story according to the developers:
“The town of Flamingo’s Creek is a place that only appears every 25 years on the Albatro Highway, the community of which is worthy of the darkest nightmares.
Meet eccentric characters, break your horns as you solve puzzles in the most creative and surreal way possible, survive Wendigo and UFOs, laser chickens, and uncover hundreds of secrets that should stay hidden …
Here are the most notable features of the game:
- Live the craziest and most paranoid nightmare
- Mix 2D and 3D gameplay
- Inspired by the works of David Lynch and Twin Peaks, or Zelda, Day of the Tentacle …
- Find the love of your life and let yourself be carried away by its consequences
