The Crash Team Rumble Battle Pass will only contain cosmetic items.
In Crash Team Rumble, players can enhance their experience with skins, emotes, attachments, banners, and victory music. They are unlockable through challenges, leveling up heroes, or progressing in the Battle Pass.
A matching season should last about three months, as the publisher has now revealed.
More information has also been released about the content of the Battle Pass. So the developer indicated that they will be purely cosmetic in nature.
“Battle Passes will only offer cosmetic items for those looking to get a WUMP on the season’s latest looks, but cosmetics will also be earnable by participating in seasonal events.”
Players will be able to unlock new heroes or powers in the game. They are not included in the Battle Pass for reasons of fairness.
“We want every player to be able to enjoy the N. Sane fun that Crash Team Rumble has to offer. As such, new heroes and powers will be earned through in-game challenges and will NOT be tied to the Battle Pass.”
Crash Team Rumble will be released for Xbox consoles on June 20th. In April there will be a closed beta for pre-orders.
