The portal mode of Battlefield 2042 offers players extensive configuration options.
Yesterday not only a new gameplay trailer for the portal mode of Battlefield 2042 was shown, in a blog entry the developer also explained the many possibilities to configure your own battlefield as you wish.
You can configure your own portal experience yourself via the web. It doesn’t matter whether you do this from your PC, smartphone, laptop or tablet. You don’t even have to own Battlefield 2042 yourself. A valid EA account is sufficient.
Your configuration can even be shared with friends using a code, who can then start the experience via the server.
When creating, you have the choice of starting completely from scratch or using a ready-made template and adapting it to your wishes.
As you can see in the following pictures, Ripple Effect (formerly DICE LA) gives you a powerful tool in which you can make many settings.
There are five game modes to choose from:
- Conquest Big
- conquest
- Rush
- Free for all
- Team deathmatch
You can even set a map rotation for your experience or your server and depending on the selected map size, you can choose from several layouts:
The other pictures show which settings you can still make. In the gameplay, for example, friendly fire can be determined or whether an aim assist can be used.
You can also determine which specialists, weapons and attachments, vehicles, gadgets are allowed or not.
