Be careful! Do not update to the latest version of Skyrim Anniversary Edition

We always believe that patches usually provide simple and straightforward solutions and leave our new games as they should. Sometimes you are wrong. And is that in the new world of video games where the convenience of digital allows titles to soak into eternity, sometimes a patch that should fix a problem ends up screwing up other parts of the game.

We’ve seen it countless times and now it’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skirym Anniversary Edition. It turns out that the version 1.6.323 Released on Steam, it was meant to fix the black screen of death that the game was suffering from which essentially left the entire play area in black, it ended up breaking the mods of the game on PC.
