Broken roads and a broken game! The developers of Broken Roads openly admit that they fell short of players’ expectations.
Whenever a developer openly admits that they have fallen short of players’ expectations, it is clear that they neither delivered nor released a halfway functioning game.
In the latest case, those responsible at Drop Bear Bytes speak out about Broken Roads. We deeply regret its disastrous condition in some important areas and are already working on further updates.
Drop Bear Bytes said: “We enjoyed watching the streams, interacting with you and hearing about your positive experiences with @BrokenRoadsGame. But we know that overall we have fallen short of players’ expectations in some key areas. Our work on Broken Roads is far from over.”
Unfortunately, so far there is only talk of a PC patch, which is scheduled to be released on April 19th. A further update is scheduled for mid-May.
The game Broken Roads is not just about “broken roads”, but also about a completely broken game that needs to be brought back into shape after publication with the money and help of the players.
If you purchased Broken Roads and only played it briefly, you can request a refund from Xbox Support. How this works is stated here.
