According to a recent report from Newzoo, the gaming industry’s leading statistics platform, Starfield has still caught the attention of many players despite any criticism.
More specifically, the current statistics list the monthly average players depending on the platform in 2023.
This is where Bethesda’s space adventure came into its own only single player title within the top 10 rankings on both PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
All other top rankings were multiplayer or co-op experiences.
Starfield was also the only game to have one entirely new IP and thus did not continue an already established franchise.
The integration into Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription will have helped to drive up player numbers.
