A few generations ago of consoles it was common to announce a game practically when it was ready to release, or, at least, when it could be enjoyed from start to finish (now called Gold). However, it is now common practice to announce the development of a game when it has not even started yet, or is at a very early stage.
This is the case with Biomutant, a very promising action RPG that was announced almost 4 years ago and has yet to hit the market. Its development is still ongoing, and in fact, a few days ago we told you how more than likely it is to launch before next March. However, THQ Nordic has clarified this information, setting its launch for the company’s next fiscal year.
Biomutant would arrive, at the earliest, in April 2021
As we told you, THQ Nordic CEO Klemens Kreuzer said in an interview for GameIndustry that the game would arrive in the first quarter of 2021. Despite this, the study wanted to clarify that this information is not accurate, and that the game will arrive during its next fiscal year, which takes place between April 2021 and March 2022.
For the record: This article previously stated that Biomutant is due for release in Q1 2021. THQ Nordic has reached out and clarified that the game is actually slated for its next fiscal year, which begins in April. https://t.co/43ETgXOhgC
