Just having confirmed that Bioshock 4 is in development is one of the best news any of us who consider ourselves devotees of the saga can have. After a few years of ostracism, the development of a new opus is undoubtedly a good balm although there is still a long way to go until we can grasp it.
We remind you that Cloud Chamber (the studio that is developing the new opus) has a group of writers who aspire to transgress the limits of interactive entertainment through unique, entertaining and neat experiences that involve the whole world. The studio will create teams in two locations: the 2K headquarters in the San Francisco Bay Area in Novato, California, and the first Canadian office of a 2K studio in Montreal.
Bioshock 4: Staff recruitment
Currently 2K Games is staff search which could be integrated into the development of the new Bioshock. A corporate job posting is looking for creatives to develop a game that uses advanced and ambitious artificial intelligence, a world full of real-time events and interactive elements. This information does not reveal the game in question, but the development that looks like this type of performance could perfectly fit into what Bioshock 4 intends to offer us.
Rapture and later Columbia are two cities loved by fans like very few, both worlds share the Bioshock universe and his new opus should offer us something that will reach this level or to think in a much more ambitious way, something that will exceed what we see in them.
Bioshock one of the most popular sagas of the last generation – Ken Schachter
BioShock is one of the most beloved, beloved and critically acclaimed next-generation console franchises. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for our iconic first-person shooter with the team from new studio Cloud Chamber at the helm.
2020 is coming to an end and since we learned of the development of the new Bioshock in September of last year we have barely heard of it, its development is one of the best kept secrets of 2K Games, so we hope that 2021 will be the year we can see the game for the first time in a tangible way and stop imagining it exclusively in our heads.
