Bioware confirms that it is working on a comprehensive review of Anthem

The Anthem case is one of the most popular in the current generation of consoles. Anthem has been launched as one of the Xbox One X app's spearheads. Being Bioware, expectations cannot be higher and unfortunately, this expectation has ended up taking its toll. Although Anthem did some things well, such as giving an addictive gameplay and a great sequel to the game, in some parts it didn't quite deliver on its promise. The game has a lot of problems especially in the progression system and loot boxes, something that has been tried to be solved with many updates but without much success.

Recently we reported to you that today is still Christmas at Anthem, which is clearly the apathy of the game by those in charge. However it turns out that this is not true and Bioware has decided to end the silence of something that has already come. Bioware confirms that it is working on a comprehensive review of Anthem.

In November of last year it was clear that Bioware would follow in the footsteps of another recent case such as Hello Games. The launch of No Man & # 39; s Sky is quite crippling and the studio has worked hard to restart the game and update its subscribers with No Man & # 39; s Sky NEXT. Now Bioware has released the following statement announcing something similar to what is happening at Hello Games.

“Over the past year, the team has worked hard to improve stability and performance while launching three seasons of new content and features. We've also heard your response that Anthem needs a more responsive boxing experience, better development and a complete end game. We realize that there is still much work to be done to bring the full potential of this program, and this will require more than renewing or expanding. ”

Bioware plans to redo the core of the game, because as the statement implies, Anthem's problem cannot be solved with a simple pledge, but with a table refresh.

"In the coming months we will focus on redesigning the long-term experience, working directly on the restoration of the gameplay core with clear goals, exciting challenges and significant rewards."

While the tutorial works on giving Anthem a second life, the current version will remain fully operational and receive events, updates on the store among other content. Undoubtedly good news for Anthem fans and for those who see a lot of potential that can be spent on this IP.
