BioWare has Dragon Age: The Veilguard about to hit the market.

BioWare is about to release its first original game in a long time with Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, naturally, people are starting to wonder about the next game of Mass effect from developer EA and for this reason the project director informed us of the title and its direction.

BioWare exec Michael Gamble appeared on social media after the publication of some analyzes on Dragon Age: The Veilkeeper and informed us about the upcoming Mass Effect game. Here’s what he said about the project:

“A lot of people are asking me about Mass Effect now that the Veilguard reviews are out and October 31st is coming up. They’re both our games, but Mass Effect is Mass Effect. The way a sci-fi RPG comes to life is different than other genres or IP. And they must have totally different tones. As for questions of tone: Mass Effect will retain the mature tone of the original trilogy. “That’s all I’m going to say for now.”

Given the mixed reception of Mass Effect: Andromeda and the general love for the original three games in the seriesthis will definitely be music to the ears of any big Mass Effect fan. As Gamble says, that’s all we’ll get for now, but it’s still a very welcome update.

The last major update for this game was almost a year ago, when BioWare showed off a brief trailer about the future of Mass Effect during “N7 Day” in 2023. We’re just over a week away from that day, in 2024, so perhaps we’ll see another update from BioWare on what’s to come. Let’s hope so.
