Treyarch announces new mode, new map and new team for zombies on January 14
The developer Activision in charge of the saga Covert operations of Call of Duty, Treyarch, announced this new content will arrive for Cold War mid-season. Additionally, bug fixes and new content were implemented in the middle of the season which we will see below.
Two new modes have been added namely Gunfight Blueprints and Dirty Bomb Duos for multiplayer, as well as a new raid and content for Warzone. There’s a new 24/7 playlist with two fast-paced maps like Assault and Crossroads Heist, featuring 6v6 battles in the most popular game modes.
In Shooting plans, the duos engage in 2v2 Gunfight battles armed with random gear with a collection of weapon blueprints. Grab a friend, start a Gunfight match, and experience your new favorite Blueprint version.
Fireteam also gets a new tactical mode in Dirty Bomb Duos, where 10 teams of two players parachute into Alpine and Ruka to collect uranium stocks and detonate more dirty bombs than the competition. With half of the players playing by the same rules as classic Dirty Bomb matches, Dirty Bomb Duos offers a more calculated and less frenetic team experience. If you’ve been looking for a chance to spend more Squad Hours under your belt, check out the more detailed Dirty Bomb Duos maps in Black Ops Cold War so far.
Additionally, on January 14, the new Sanatorium multiplayer map will arrive, the Dropkick game mode, in which 6v6 teams will fight for control of the nuclear codes. In Zombies mode, intensity level 11 will be added in the new mode Cranked, where each dead zombie resets the countdown until you die. And in Onslaught, Raid Joins the card list with new information on Dark Aether for Zombies fans on PlayStation.
