The console version of Bleak Faith Forsaken will be released in August with additional updates.
Perp Games and Archangel Studios are pleased to announce that Bleak Faith: Forsaken will be released digitally on August 6, 2024 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for 34.99 dollars.
The 3-person team at Archangel Studios has supported the game since its release on PC with an incredible amount of free updates, including co-op multiplayer, to create a truly epic open-world action RPG.
The “definitive” console version includes a number of additional updates to the current PC version. In addition to utilizing console features such as the DualSense controller, these updates include an update to the block and parry system, charged heavy attacks, several new enemies, a new boss model, an updated protagonist model, major UI changes, and a controller overhaul.
Bleak Faith: Forsaken is a third-person open-world survival horror action RPG where you play as one of the Forsaken, humanity’s last frontier against the growing horrors of the Omnistructure; an interconnected and surreal environment that contains a unique and twisted mix of grim medieval gothic world and brutal and decaying modernist architecture.
Explore the last remnants of civilization in this vast, unforgiving, and interconnected world. Learn what remains of this world’s history. Discover the remnants of civilization in the ever-expanding Omnistructure, rich in atmosphere and full of danger.
You progress through the game, improving your stats and abilities through the gear you equip and customize, as opposed to leveling up, which puts a new twist on the “Souls-like” genre.
In addition to the unique appearance and the oppressive atmosphere, it is the fights that will push you to your limits. Positioning, timing and resource management are things you must always keep in mind. Prepare yourself for a challenge and be prepared for memorable boss fights that increase the level of danger even further.
Choose a class and develop your perfect playstyle. But remember that not every choice is reversible, so choose wisely which direction you take your character.
