Blizzard’s top official celebrates what happened in US court and predicts many more surprises for the future.
Microsoft’s takeover of Activision Blizzard is closer than ever after Redmond’s first vic tory against the FTC, and the president of Blizzard, Mike Ybarra couldn’t be happier.
Through his twitter account, Ybarra congratulated the Blizzard teams and said that “a lot more is to come” and that “this is just getting started” something that almost every fan received with a standing ovation. Another notable observation, the leader defines his company as a “sleeping giant”.
Blizzard is excited about a future that looks bright
The launch of Diablo 4 was a resounding success, accompanied, to a lesser extent, of course, by the arrival of Overwatch 2 and Diablo Immortal last year, so we’ll see what else they have in their sleeves for the future.
Now the way seems to be more paved to get excited about acquiring Activision Blizzard and dream (why not) the appearance of the developer catalog in Game Pass in the future. For now, nothing is ruled out and day after day reveals new details that we look forward to as of this writing.
