Once again, Bloober Team is in the spotlight, a Polish studio that made an important deal with Konami a few months ago, on which no data is yet known. The creators of Blair Witch, Layers of Fear or the most recent The Medium, have just announced their latest partnership for a title that will be released exclusively on next-gen consoles and PC.
Thanks to a Press release, Rogue Games and Bloober Team have announced a new alliance to jointly release a yet-to-be-announced game, about which little is known. Rogue Games is a newer company in the industry, but with very experienced members, who in their time were part of big companies such as Apple, Sony, Electronic Arts and a few big brands. These will be the main ones in charge of publishing and distributing the game.
Bloober Team and Rogue Games join forces
Few details on the deal have been offered beyond what has been commented on above, however, both companies have expressed emotion for said union. Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno commented:
We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Rogue on this incredible project. We pride ourselves on creating games that push the boundaries of originality and immersion, and we’re thrilled to be working alongside a company that shares our vision.
Complementing this statement, Rogue Games Executive Director Matt Casamassina explained some of the reasons for the said union.
We’ve admired Bloober’s dark and gorgeous games for years, so we knew right away that they were the only team to do this crazy, cool concept justice. Today is not the day: Unforgettable, original and awesome games take time and attention, but we look forward to announcing the details of this project at a later date.
