With the Indie Box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or featured indie games. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox Marketplace, others might be worth a look. That is the whole subject of this section.
In Geometric Sniper: Blood in Paris, you need to shoot down targets in a very short time (2-3 minutes) without inflicting civilian casualties. Before you press the trigger, you need to spot the fixed or moving targets in a dense crowd, but in case of mission failure, the targets will change.
The only way we can see what’s happening is through our rifle scope. We’ve got the exact amount of ammo you need, so there’s no chance you’ll miss your shot. Enemy snipers can sometimes react, so you’ll have to juggle shots and cover. Behind the deceptively innocent look of the geometric figures lies an edgy and gripping title that demands staying power. The subtle mix of where is charlie and from Sniper Elite could fly for me anyway!
I appreciated:
- Kill six-headed terrorists!
- Quick Start
- Simple but not simplistic
- Very short levels that allow fast chaining in case of error
I’m sorry :
